P6_FixLineEndings.pl is a Perl script that changes line endings in a text file to
Unix, Windows, or Macintosh format. It requires three modules from our P6C_Perl_Libs
package of Perl modules, freely available
here. Though created for the Win32 platform, the code is portable and should work unmodified
on any platform that runs Perl.
The script is fully documented here.
Note: The P6Consulting modules and this script were written, tested, and intended for use on Windows machines with a Windows version of Perl. It was tested against Perl version 5.6.1, which is freely available at http://www.activestate.com/Products/Download/Register.plex?id=ActivePerl.
Though these modules were developed and we use them on Windows machines, all but
P6consulting::P6win32 should work on Unix or Linux, too.
Unzip file P6_FixLineEndings.zip into any convenient directory. We suggest you place
the files into a directory that is on your PATH to make them accessible from anywhere
on your system.
